Paolo Fresu at Ristori Theatre

The project, certainly ambitious and intriguing, was born from the meeting between Paolo Fresu and Alberto Martini, director and soul of I VIRTUOSI ITALIANI. The resulting desire to delve more deeply into each other's repertoires and languages did the rest. The totally renewed program is the result of a collaboration and in-depth study that has lasted for years, on the idea of combining the repertoire and spirit of baroque music with jazz and with two ways, which also integrate perfectly, of understanding improvisation.
